Backend Developer
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic development team, focusing on creating cutting-edge solutions for the financial sector. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend of our applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# .NET code for backend systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security, particularly for financial applications.
- Develop and maintain APIs for seamless data integration.
- Work with databases, particularly SQL Server, to ensure data integrity and performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience with C# .NET development or other related OOP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio and other relevant development tools.
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Knowledge of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and component reuse.
- Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Agile methodologies practices;
- Good understanding of solution architecture and design, and web application performance;
- Experience using Internet Information Services (IIS);
- Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Experience in SQL Server;
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Pipelines;
- Experience in the Financial area;
Education & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, if required.
- Great Communications skills and fluency in English.
